The rumors of another threat to town are in abundance. Things seem quiet at the moment, but I am worried now that another madman is lurking in the streets and alleys of New Babbage. The last message was clearly posted, saying that explosives had been placed around town in various locations. I am not sure what the official response from Bow Street will be, but I worry that they are too understaffed to deal with the problem. This is not a matter where I was asked to involve myself in, and in doing so I do not know what the official consequences would be. I cannot sit idly by and wait either.

There are things to do, and time is not standing by. Every moment I wait, the situation decays further.
